Flashback Part 9

At last we arrived at the place where I was supposed to be fetched by Mark but . . .he was not there. I was afraid that time because I did not know what to do. There are many questions that keeps on coming to my mind. What if  Mark will not come to fetch me? What will happen to me? Where will I stay? Will I still fulfil my dreams? Hahahaha.. so many questions hanging on my mind. A little moment passed by and atlas I saw Mark standing in a corner. Thanks God he came for me, I was relieved. Jeff and Issah left me to Mark . Then I said goodbye to both of them while Mark thanks them for bringing me home.
At their boarding house, Mark confronted me for what I did. I explained to him everything because I felt that he was very angry at me. I wanted to confront him too for acting as if he is my boyfriend even though he was not. I did not ask him because I knew that he loves me and I would only hurt his feelings. He forgave me for what i did and I am very thankful for that. That time he admitted to me that he loves me. But I was not yet ready to enter a new relationship. I was being traumatized by what had happened with my last relationship. And I am glad that he understands my situation.

Then the next day, Mark finally went to work. One of his friends named Lea was the one who assisted me while he was away for work. Lea seems to be good to me. She was 24 years old.. 6 years older than me at that time. From the night that I met her I knew that she had special feelings for Mark. While we were together she began on asking me some questions related to Mark. Remember that Mark and I pretended to be cousins so that I can stay at their boarding house. Lea asked if how Mark and I were related to each other, on mother side or father side. I did not know what to answer. Of course I told her a lie hahaha not a lie but a series of lies. 

Then her last question was..  she was asking if I knew a girl named Mariz. I answered no. I told her that Mark and I were not that close so I did not know much about him. After saying that, I saw doubt in her face. I felt my heart beating so fast and sweat starting accumulating. That time she was looking at me in a doubtful way. I got worried for I did not know what is going on in her head.
