Flash Back Part 14

And I was shocked because that was the time I knew Chad had not told his mother about my situation. So I started thinking, what if his mother did not agree for my staying there? Where will I go? What will happen to me next? How will I live by myself? What about my family? How will I fulfil my dreams? And I did not notice that tears were running down my face. I did not know what to do so I prayed hard and asked guidance from God because I do believe He is always watching me. 

Chad told me that I have nothing to worry about because his mother will understand my situation. I did not notice that I fell asleep while thinking about my situation. I woke up due to a knock at the door, I got up and opened it. I saw a guy taller than Chad, I assumed that is Chad’s older brother and I was right that was Chad’s brother but the youngest hehehe..

Then I wondered where their mother was so I asked Chad himself. He told me that his mom just went to visit their sister in another condo unit at the nearby tower. She will soon come to our unit Chad added. A few minutes later the door opened and a girl at her mid 50’s entered the room. She was wearing office attire with a shoulder bag. Her face looks so kind and cheerful. She looked at me and smiled. My heart beats faster while I smiled back at her; I knew that it was Chad’s mother. Chad introduced her mom and I explain my situation and I was wrong because Tita Noli ( Chad’s mom) is very kind. I felt her willingness to help me. She accepted me sincerely without judging me. 

That was our first meeting and our first dinner together. Atlas I felt alright and after a few hours, Chad’s sister came to our unit together with her friends. Tita Noli introduced them to me. They are so beautiful but humble. They are Lasalistas and when I knew that I was very amazed because that is my dream school and I know that I cannot afford to go there because that is a school for rich people. I hope someday I can enrol there.

After our dinner, Tita Noli and Beni (Chad’s younger brother) said farewell to us. I never expected that they will not sleep at the condo. It means Chad and I will be left at the condo just the two of us..
